We decided to take a little 3 day trip to 9 Mile Canyon to see the Ancient Indian rock art. It was a pretty good trip. I learned to bring my own bottled water and where all the cleanest out houses were. Allot of the carvings were covered in dust due to the increase in heavy truck traffic for the natural gas wells in the canyon. The roads were beginning to be paved but i feel the damage has been done. Who knows how many more carvings will not be discovered because of the dust. Okay I'm off my soap box!! This was a pretty good trip aside from the constant bathroom breaks. We are planning on another trip and i am going to Geo tag everything i can to a map.

Mill Fork Cemetery. We stopped here to eat our lunch there was decent shade for the time of day. |

This formation is just around the corner form Mill Fork Cemetery |

WE came across this in the castle gate pass. This was about 100 yd up a canyon. |
|
This building was about 200 yd past the little building. It took me awhile to find out what these were originally used for. They are explosives storage buildings from when they widened the castle gate pass. |

Inside the large building. |
I'm not a superstitious or a paranoid person, But the entire time we were up this little canyon i felt like something was terribly wrong with this place. it got even worse the the further we hiked up into the trees.

You cant see it in this picture but there is a granary up in the cracks of this mountain side. We did not have a telephoto lens on this trip but i managed to get a good picture through our nikon Binoculars. |

Not to bad for holding a camera behind a set of binoculars. |
